Specializes in OR Internship starting in Jan!!.

Wow, that is some crazy drama! Our class lost so many people this semester it isn't even funny. I think out of 50 who started, we are now in the low 30s.

2 by choice, but all very, very sad! :(

Specializes in Operating Room.

This semester. The two by choice: one postponed, one decided to repeat r/t health concerns. Most made it to the end, but got caught by the final skills exam.

1st semester we lost about 5 or 6.....Maybe more, I don't remember.

Thanks Katie for the reading stuff!!!! At least we have something to start with now!!! Have a wonderful summer!

Specializes in Nephrology.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! I haven't been able to get into the boards for a while now!!!!! I think it was my internet though..not the boards.

I have some good news :D I got an Externship in the ICU at Dallas Methodist!!!! WAHOO!!!! I start June 11th. I was so nervous that I wasn't going to get it because there were so many people interviewing for it. I am so blessed!!!!!! I never heard from Children's so I assumed that was dead in the water :lol2: . So I saw this Externship pop up at the last minute and I applied. It all happened so fast that I didn't even realize it. The people at the "open house" interview were the best people I have ever interviewed with. They took care of all of the nursing students with such sincerity. I would really love to work for a place like that! Even the ICU Nurse Manager was really sweet! She had all the credentials on her jacket that I want!!!! RN, MSN, CCRN!!!!! SOMEDAY!!!!! :D
