El Centro Spring 2018 Nursing Program Hopefules

Hello Nursing hopefules!

I will be applying for the El Centro Nursing Progam for spring 2018. I wanted to know if anyone else is working on their applications and how far along. Here to provide and receive support and help. I currently have 26 points without the HESI. I was only missing 3 points from the RN-BSN courses. I have taken the HESI 2 times before and there would always be one subject (grammar) that held me back from submitting my application. I did not take the HESI seriously and never studied for the test. This time is different. I have been studying my head off for 2 weeks now. Taking the HESI for the third and final time Feb 11. Hopefully I get to meet some future el Centro students here and start our journey together!

Me too.Now I'm anxious for checking mail day by day. Hopefully this ends this week. I wonder why they don't just simply email us instead of mailing. Sighhhhh

Y'all have me all impatient now... :-/ I actually went home and checked my mail. I RARELY check my mail because it is usually all junk. Thanks again for planting this seed of anxiety inside of me. HAHAHA!!

Last week I signed up for informed delivery with USPS it lets you see a front pic of every mailpiece you should receive each day! & its free. Now i just check that every morning and calm down for the rest of the day lol. That has helped me from constantly checking the mail..

Hey everyone! So super bad news. They delayed sending the acceptance letters for another 2 weeks because the dean is not ready yet. I called just to see if letters could have been sent early and that's what they told me. â˜¹ï¸â˜¹ï¸â˜¹ï¸â˜¹ï¸í ½í¸©

Hi Everyone! I just came across these post....wish I found them sooner. Might have helped my anxiety levels when I was applying! I too applied to the Spring 2018 program for El Centro. I was stressing myself out so bad over the points that had to say...God has me and he knows the plans he has for me. So with the delay and all; I'm going to say it's all good because they are trying to figure out where to put us ALL!! ;0)

Good luck, Melissa. Does anyone have any idea how many people applied versus how many people they accept into the program every semester?

I believe they take 60 at el centro campus and 60 at north lake every application period. I'm not sure how many applied for spring 2018.
