El Centro Spring 2018 Nursing Program Hopefules

Published

Hello Nursing hopefules!

I will be applying for the El Centro Nursing Progam for spring 2018. I wanted to know if anyone else is working on their applications and how far along. Here to provide and receive support and help. I currently have 26 points without the HESI. I was only missing 3 points from the RN-BSN courses. I have taken the HESI 2 times before and there would always be one subject (grammar) that held me back from submitting my application. I did not take the HESI seriously and never studied for the test. This time is different. I have been studying my head off for 2 weeks now. Taking the HESI for the third and final time Feb 11. Hopefully I get to meet some future el Centro students here and start our journey together!

Hmmm... maybe the email is still coming for you? (its alot of emails to send at once) Do you get dcccd emails at your email?? Or you can possibly email the dean? ([email protected])

Wow, Melissa, that is great! I can tell that you have worked very hard to get to this point.

I also received an e-mail notifying us that they will be e-mailing an admission status by the end of the month. I also went on and took time off of work for November 8 for the orientation in good faith. LOL!

My friend didn't get the email either so she called and they had her email wrong!!! So I would call just to be safe if u didn't get an email!!!

I also got the email! I am so anxious to find out! D:

Ok so I called and they had my email incorrect. They changed it and sent me the email. So glad for this forum.

How many points did yall apply with?? I think we should all meet up for orientation :D

I can't remember exactly how many points I applied with but I think it was around 31. I put in a request for them to count my HPRS with my clinical work experience but I never heard from them. I'm hoping they count it because that would give me more points.

I applied with about 38 points. Good luck to everyone!

The good news now is that they're sending the news through email, so we should all receive it the same day they post. :)

I wonder what the cut off for points is... I was reading previous threads, and it is somewhere around 31 or 32?..

How did yall do on the Hesi??

I got 90+ on all sections on my HESI.

Thats awesome Travis!! Congratulations! I don't remember the exact scores, but I think it was,

Anatomy-100

Math-96

English (all three subjects combine)-93

I applied with 39 points
