Hello Nursing hopefules!
I will be applying for the El Centro Nursing Progam for spring 2018. I wanted to know if anyone else is working on their applications and how far along. Here to provide and receive support and help. I currently have 26 points without the HESI. I was only missing 3 points from the RN-BSN courses. I have taken the HESI 2 times before and there would always be one subject (grammar) that held me back from submitting my application. I did not take the HESI seriously and never studied for the test. This time is different. I have been studying my head off for 2 weeks now. Taking the HESI for the third and final time Feb 11. Hopefully I get to meet some future el Centro students here and start our journey together!
Hey guys! I applied into the program with 33 points. I cant wait for these 3 1/2 weeks to go by to hear from the school! Im crossing fingers since I did not have any BSN prereqs completed only the basic ones we needed and the humanities. I saw the fall 2017 board and people got accepted with 30 points and up.
Hello everyone! Wow this has been a long time coming. I've been through so much to get to this point. I'm applying with 29 pts... I think. I know by the grace of God I'm going to get in after all I've been through to get to this point. Best of luck to all of you. Also, I was wondering if anyone knows how the schedule will go. I'm asking because I'm looking for work and I want to be able to give them some sort of schedule, or to know if I can apply to the schedule they need? Does everyone go to class together or do you pick your own schedule? Thanks in advance.
Hello Fellow Hopefuls! I submitted my application for the El Centro/Northlake Nursing Program for Spring 2018, as well!
I applied with 30 points but I may have more that I am not aware of. I sent multiple e-mails requesting that they credit me for the HPRS classes since I have worked in the medical field as a Certified Medical Assistant for the last 5 years. Unfortunately, they never responded.
I was told when I submitted my application that they have not received too many applications for Spring 2018. So hopefully that is a good sign!
Is everyone here beginning to feel anxious like I am? I need Oct 15 to be here already. I applied with 35-36 points. Also, if accepted, do y'all plan on working during this first semester? I currently work prn as a PCT and work as a server at a restaurant.. but I'm still trying to figure out how I'm gonna make it work because I do have bills to pay.. :/
