El Centro/Methodist Dallas Fall 2014

U.S.A. Texas

I've created this new thread for those applying to the Methodist Nursing Program linked with El Centro. This program is for those that are employed, have immediate family members employed, and volunteers that have reached a certain amount of hours at a Methodist hospital. They currently are only accepting 10 people per semester.

I was so nervous! lol. I did the whole fast talking bit. I feel okay about it :/ We'll see what happens. :) Fingers crosses!

I think that I might have met arevalcs1's sister too :)

How many points did you apply with Stacy? and what time was your interview??

Hey ladies! I hope interviews went okay today. I'm wishing you guys all the luck in the world @ Stacy my sister did mention she got to meet you today :) Good Luck and keep me posted if you guys get in!

Stacy. What studying tools did you use to study for HESI? I'm re-taking mine Monday and I need all the help I can get. Any suggestions?

@sdr0123: Hi! I applied to a few programs, I think that the Methodist application reflected 27 or 28 points. If I'm not mistaken, I believe we score additional points for our interview as well.... My interview was at 3:20. Interviews were scheduled to last 10 min. per candidate. How was your interview???

@arevalcs1: Your sister is so nice! What is your email address??? I have several links and documents that I found very helpful when studying for the Hesi! I will email you everything I have! : ) You got this!

Stacy! She told me she really liked you as well :) She told me she found her study buddy! My email is [email protected] Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone,

I just joined this site. I too applied for the 2014 fall semester with MHD/el centro. I went to my interview at 11:50 Tuesday morning. I am so worried and constantly checking my email. Does anyone know approx. when we will know?

Next week. Notifications letters go out after July 1st. How many points did you apply with sunshine24-7?

If I count it correctly I had 29-31 or so pts. I'm unsure due to the changes on the hesi pts system. It is different than the traditional El Centro. I am retaking my hesi in two weeks so I could make the deadline for Spring "15". I will be applying to the traditional El centro instead of MHD if I don't get in for Fall.

I'm sure you will get in with those points. Although, I totally agree it is always worth having a back up plan just in case. Unfortunately, I didn't even qualify for an interview so I'm still a little undecided about which program I want to apply too. It just seems so hard to get in with only 10 been accepted ;/
