  1. I did not make it in for this round. They said that I did not rank high enough all though I have 29-31 pts. I will be submitting through the traditional el centro for spring 2015.l
  2. I had titers done awhile back. Arevalcs1 is right. It usually takes a couple of days. Im from overseas and came here to the US when I was really young. So bloodwork for me was the only proof to see what I already have. The quicker the better. Im sure if you talk to your PCP they will be able to help you further.
  3. To prepare for the outcome I have scheduled for retaking of the hesi exam in two weeks so I could make the July 15th deadline for traditional El Centro program. I also have an appointment to go tour UTD campus this coming Monday with my husband. Hopefully I get my results by then...:-)
  4. If you get into the regular el centro, check out tuition reimbursement with hr and see the guidelines if any for it. There are way too many options for you because you have already became a full time employee. You will get there...
  5. Thank you for note to keep pushing. I will continue to. I have been through this 3 times. This time I have 31 pts. Hopefully, I am accepted for MHD, I will find out by the end of next week for sure. Anyway though I will keep the next hesi appointment for back up just in case. Also I scheduled a tour at UTD for next Monday.
  6. Trust me I know it all too well. It is heartbreaking. This is my third time applying. I am a full time employee there and once was also a volunteer. It use to be 20 pts and went to 40 pretty quick. The program is very competitive but don't lose hope. There are so many options out there and where the compassion lies in you, one day someone will see it and open up doors for you. Believe me, I been through this for years and never given up. Why don't you apply to the traditional elcentro for spring 15?
  7. If I count it correctly I had 29-31 or so pts. I'm unsure due to the changes on the hesi pts system. It is different than the traditional El Centro. I am retaking my hesi in two weeks so I could make the deadline for Spring "15". I will be applying to the traditional El centro instead of MHD if I don't get in for Fall.
  8. Hi ShaiLynette: Yes I was worried and so I retook it. I didn't want to take the chance. I will apply for the El Centro program for Spring 15 if I don't get in at MHD/elcentro for this fall. I am also scheduled to re-take my hesi again so that I could hopefully get more points. I am at 31 pts now. How many points did you apply with?
  9. Hi alexnicoleex3! I too took A&P online and had to buy a lab kit. I later found out that they required an on campus lab, so I had to retake my A&P. I didn't confirm it but didn't want to risk it. I recently applied to the MHS/el centro program for this fall but haven't heard back just yet. I went to my interview and now anxiously waiting.
  10. Hi everyone, I just joined this site. I too applied for the 2014 fall semester with MHD/el centro. I went to my interview at 11:50 Tuesday morning. I am so worried and constantly checking my email. Does anyone know approx. when we will know?
