Edison State College 2014

Hello! Is anyone applying for Edison(Lee campus) for fall of next year? I plan on applying in the spring for the evening program. I'm also in the process of finishing my last pre reqs and studying for the Hesi. I know the evening program is about 5 semesters but does anyone know if its shorter when all pre reqs are completed? So far I've gotten all A's in them. Thanks in advance

I took a tour of the charlotte campus the other day and saw all the classrooms! I am so excited to start!

I officially called today and gave up my seat in the Lee Day program. Hope someone gets the call they have been waiting for! Good luck in the program!

Because of my current job(and set work schedule) I did some looking around on Edison's website to get an idea of what the schedule will be like for our first term, for the Full Time Collier Campus. Our days should look something like this

Mondays: 9am to 4:15 (NUR 1022 9:00-12:15, NUR 1023L 1:00-4:15)

Tuesdays: 8am to 1:30 (NUR 1060 8:00-10:00, NUR 1060L 10:30-1:30)

Wednesday: 6:30am to 1:00 (NUR 1022L 6:30am-1:00 off campus Clinical)

Thursday: 9am to 12:15 (NUR 1022 9:00-12:15)

If anyone wants to look up what it may be for another campus all I did was use Edison's personal class worksheet search, and just selected the Nursing program, my term, and the campus.

Thanks KatheClaire! I was wondering what our schedule was going to be like. I work for the hospital and based on the schedule I have to switch departments and work the ER :(

*Tuesday-NUR1022 Fundamentals of Nursing (8:30-11:30) AND NUR1023L Fundamentals of Nursing Practicum(12P-3P)

*Thursday-NUR1060 Health Assesment(8:30-10:30) AND NUR1060L Health Assesment Lab(11:00AM-2PM)

*NUR1022L Fundamentals of Nursing Clinical (No day listed, I'm guessing it changes weekly) (6:30am-3p)

Go to the portal, click on the Financial Aid & Student Services tab, then click on thePersonal Worksheet Class Search,then enter the TERM, Course Subject is Nursing, and then choose your campus

Yay my fingerprints finally cleared! Now just waiting on the Orientation packet. Are you all waiting until we get the packet to sign up for the BLS class and health exam? I'm wondering if I should do it now to get it out of the way.

I'm all new to this, where do I find out info about the BLS class and health exam? I would love to get it all out of the way asap too. All my screens came back good, I'm just waiting on that acceptance package. I'm betting it's got all the ins and outs of what to do. (but would be awesome to get it done ahead of time as well)

Also does anyone happen to have pulled the evening schedule yet?

Im waiting to get the packet for what to do next, I'm pretty sure it will inform us on the next steps to take
