Hello! Is anyone applying for Edison(Lee campus) for fall of next year? I plan on applying in the spring for the evening program. I'm also in the process of finishing my last pre reqs and studying for the Hesi. I know the evening program is about 5 semesters but does anyone know if its shorter when all pre reqs are completed? So far I've gotten all A's in them. Thanks in advance

Edison's semester structure is rigid, no flexibility. You may have fewer classes per semester, but you will be required to go through all 5 semesters with your cohort.
Thanks Stcroix are you in the program now?
No, I graduated in December and now work at NCH. Be happy to answer questions.
That's good to know! I will definitely be emailing you soon
BUMP. Anyone else applying for fall 2014 for the evenings? :)

I am applying for any programs available, day evening ect. Going to apply for lee, charlotte, and maybe even naples. They are changing the entire program though and have pushed back the original deadline of FEB 15th to April I think. apparently they are letting more people in this year. I hope I have a chance lol
I heard the same thing. Apparently they are doing away with the evening lpn bridge program. I guess they are opening up more spots for the day and evening programs. Good luck!

They are doing away with some of the programs. Check in at an info session. I am in the bridge program at lee and they told us that we were the last class following this outline....basically it's all changing. I thank The Lord Jesus I made it in time! Good luck ladies!! From what I hear though it will be a bit easier for you though!
I'm going to orientation on March 12 and hopefully they have all the info. There's so many rumors about them cutting programs and adding additional pre reqs. I'm so nervous! I hope you're right about it being a little easier.
That's one thing the director of the program did say for sure. That they are aiming to make it easier for those that work and are in the program. Like me, I am a working parent. It's horrible cause I barely see my kids.....forget about friends or a man!!! Work, school, work, school...but it's only a year.
They are doing away with the LPN to RN and having the LPN's go for 2 years like everyone else. Bummer!
That's wonderful to hear because most of us have to work. That's why I really wanted to get into the night program. It would be great if I could keep my same hours or even go part time luckily my job will work with me. Are they changing the whole program at all 3 campuses or just Lee?
