Edison State College 2014

Hello! Is anyone applying for Edison(Lee campus) for fall of next year? I plan on applying in the spring for the evening program. I'm also in the process of finishing my last pre reqs and studying for the Hesi. I know the evening program is about 5 semesters but does anyone know if its shorter when all pre reqs are completed? So far I've gotten all A's in them. Thanks in advance

Dgarcia -- Did you hear anything yet? I can't imagine that you didn't get in! I've got my fingers, toes and EYES crossed - hoping to see you post that you made it!

I got into Lee Day too - I haven't - I talked to someone there today they said they haven't been sent out yet.

When you guys go in for your fingerprints don't wash your hands before! I got an email that the FBI rejected mine so I have go and retake them. It's weird bc FDLE accepted them but the FBI didn't. Good news is that I don't have a Florida criminal record :). I moved to the US when I was 7 and I've lived in Florida ever since so I have no doubt I'll pass the FBI part. Good luck everyone!

YES!!! I got in the program! Finally I breathe a huge sigh of relief. Now I can relax a little.

I don't think the Lee campus has gotten the emails yet. I know Collier and Charlotte have.

I started on it as soon as I got the email. I didn't want them to change their minds about accepting me:roflmao:

Those that have done the background check and drug screen, was it easy enough to make appt etc to have it all done? I'm leaving in a week for Illinois, so I want to ensure I can get it all done in a timely manner and back to them before Friday..

and how awesome is it we have made it in?!

Yes so easy! i made both appointments right online. The fingerprint scan took about 2 minutes, and the drug test took about 5. Just make sure for the fingerprints you bring in your code number and ID, and for the drug test to print out the form thats on your personal certified profile account.
