Just LS3 to go and then FCCA and CPNE!! Time sure does fly!!! Any one at the same point as me? I'm going to be needing a study buddy for CPNE soon!! Let's all support each other through this!!!

Thanks Loops, & MsPC for the updates. A 3 week to 3 month wait doesn't sound bad, but waiting almost 6 months sounds discouraging. I guess I'll have to take what I get, though.

What is NPAC? Is that the testing site in Albany, NY?

NPAC is the north-eastern branch of testing centers-NY, PA so yes, Albany is in there.

MPAC is the Midwest-WI, Ohio and Tx

SPAC is the Southern branch-Savannah, etc

It is hard to say what exactly the wait would be until you actually get there and how far out they are scheduling at that time, and there is always the cancellation list. I know the MPAC is still trying to find replacement hospitals for the ones they lost, and that should help.

Thanks again, Loops, for the info! With any luck, I should be done with my tests by December, so I will have to wait to see what happens then!

Just starting out...think i will start w/ Transitions first...my goal is to test every 2-3 weeks (more if needed)...congrats to all...Hope to be RN in 2012 wooohooo

Yay for me!! Took LS2 yesterday and passed with a B! On to LS3!!

Bee,

I use the med surg book, reading over the chapters and highlighting the important stuff. I also have studygroup101 notes which I find to be helpful on some exams but would not use them exclusively. I also have the Saunders NCLEX review book. Oh, and definitely buy the practice exams. They are worth it. Questions are vey similar to the ones on the test.

Good luck!!
