I agree with Miss_Chell. Contact Joan and she will definitely help you. I pass on my 5th attempt and i use all her strategies along with Kaplan.

I took NCLEX and pass on my 5th attempt. The first three times I was all over the place with my % areas of below above and near passing at the same site. I mostly review content since I believe that was my weakest. The 4th time I went to a different testing site and got my result fail again but this time my % were above passing in two areas and near in the next 6 with all 265 questions which was the first time. All the other times I got no more than 162 questions. So for my 5th attempts I did only questions using ATI and Kaplan. I also join the project nclex group on FB where the coach teaches us strategies of how to answer the questions. Whenever I got a question wrong I would read the rationale and then look up the topic in my Saunders book. I also went to a different testing site and I pass with a little over 100 questions. I make sure I time my self and read every single word of the questions because I always do speed reading so I slow it down. Don't give up you have to want it so bad like I did and put the time in to study, It can be done I did so can you!

I live in the Bronx so I tested at Queens New York hospital last August and pass. The CA **** is very nice and mother like. Give lots of encouragement. The CE's are also nice they all really want us to pass but you have to prove to the that you know your stuff. I would recommend Queens site anytime.

Thank you all for the congrats! I read that study guide over and over. Know those critical elements/mnemonics like the back of your hand and practice those labs so you can do them in your self. I did Sheri's live workshop and online for one month, along with EC care plan and documentation class. I summit all 12 care plans via the message center. I practice with another student in Florida via Skype for labs and do care plans over the phone. It was hard for me because I allow my nerve to get the best of me for the first two day. But the third day I already knew what to expect. It is very doable and the CA and CE's really want you to pass you just have to prove to them that you know your stuff. Good luck to future tester!

Pass CPNE at Queens hospital. Please make sure you know your study guide and can create a care plan on spot. Know your critical elements like the back of your hand. Practice those labs until you can do them in your sleep. STUDY STUDY and PRACTICE LABS. The CA and CE's really want you to pass but you have to know your stuff. Four of us tested and all four of us pass! Good luck to future testers!

I enjoy reading your journal even though it bring tear to my eyes. I've been practicing my labs now every other day. Mostly focusing on my care plans and narrative notes. Hope to post the same thing in a couple of weeks. BIG CONGRATS!

Depending on the site there are mid week testing Know some one who did it. I believe its Tuesday through Thursday. Good luck!
