Duquesne University ABSN 2022

Published

Hi all!

I know it's still early for this program (deadline in May), but I was recently accepted and wanted to start a discussion forum! I really wanted to be in Pittsburgh and like Duquesne's program, which is why I applied.

Accepted/prospective students please feel free to respond, as well as current students - I'd love to hear what you think about the program!

Hey! I'm having trouble with CastleBranch. How do you log in to the website? What did you use to log in? I can't figure it out (sorry if it's obvious and I'm just missing it! LOL)

Edit: NVM! Figured it out. That was tricky!

It really was! I had to navigate my way to just get to Castle Branch ?

Has anyone completed the fingerprinting requirement? When I try to sign up via morphotrust/idemia with the provided service code, the only fingerprinting locations available are in Pennsylvania, where I am not. Is there a way around this?

Put your zip code in and different locations will pop up. They use IndentoGo for Fingerprinting. Try looking up IndentoGo

Hey! So I'm actually stuck with this right now LOL. I'm trying to sign up but it's asking for a package code? I looked in the handbook and didn't see anything.

The package code is in the "Second Degree and BME BSN Clinical Requirement Checklist 2022-2023" in DORI (which is found in this link: https://portal.duq.edu/web/home/index)

I'll post the pdf here! I found it on DORI in the Index toggle where we can access our e-mail.

Does anyone in the Pittsburgh area have a recommendation for a place to complete your preclinical health requirements (other than the student health center)?

You could potentially get a new primary care and do it that way but I think the student health center is your best bet if you have just moved to Pittsburgh. I completed my health stuff when I was back in my hometown. I do not think the health center costs a lot for it though. Definitely worth checking out.

I accepted my offer and paid the deposit shortly before the initial June 1 deadline. The application deadline has been extended to June 17.

Hey everyone! Another question. How long did Identogo take to send your fingerprint results/info? I had my fingerprinting appointment a month ago (in PA) and the status still says 'processing.' I'm a bit worried this is going to become a pain in my butt if it isn't processed soon, ugh
