Hi all!

I know it's still early for this program (deadline in May), but I was recently accepted and wanted to start a discussion forum! I really wanted to be in Pittsburgh and like Duquesne's program, which is why I applied.

Accepted/prospective students please feel free to respond, as well as current students - I'd love to hear what you think about the program!

Hi John. I'm Mallory. If you're in the facebook group, I'm on there as Mallory Brooke Oates. Maybe we can study together if you live close by the school? I'm 12 minute walk to the school. I live in City View Apartments off of Centre Ave

My clinicals are on thursdays too!  I'm willing to carpool and help with gas money.

Btw thanks everybody for your replies. I'm less anxious about the practicalities of moving to pittsburg.

Moving is rough. I'm a ball of anxiety now the closer I get to flying back up to Pittsburgh. ?

Hey Mallory! Yes, I'd be down studying with you? I'll be living by the North Shore Area which is like a 13-minute bike ride to campus!

My apartment complex has a lot of study areas if we ever wanna get a group together for studying.

I thought I'd share what a previous student told me last night when I asked how to study for nursing because yeah, I don't know. Also, are your clinicals on Tuesdays or Thursdays? I really hope we know soon where we get to be at for the semester. I got an email saying we will get an email with a link for our textbooks in August.

Hey Mallory! I have clinicals on Thursday and lab on Tuesdays (the reverse of you). Thanks for sharing these great tidbits!! I totally hear you. Yes, I just saw that! I know me too!

I've also heard that watching videos by the RegisteredNurseRN online was helpful for review (especially if you're an auditory learner) when learning class material!
