  1. Sorry they didn't reply to you. Did you eventually get your answer since school started?
  2. All you need to do is take the NCLEX. The school sends your stuff to the Board of Nursing. They don't tell us the specifics of how they send it off to whatever state but they said to take the NCLEX in the state you want to practice in. A lot of people are out of state in this program so you won't have any issues.
  3. yeah I didn't have the patience to organize it all within a week of moving in. most stuff is organized like my kitchen, bedroom, linen closet, bathroom. just the living room stuff is everywhere ?
  4. I'll be back in town on August 12th. I gotta really organize my places because I unpacked everything and left it on the floor. I really didn't care ? I hate the time it takes to organize stuff.
  5. right? I actually called the computer store asking if we absolutely need the newest laptop and they said to check with the nursing department (screw that tbh). I was able to get an Apple watch for less money from Ebay because we need a watch. might as well be able to play my tunes. I'm 100% team Apple because Microsoft laptops have screwed me over in undergrad. ?
  6. I wonder if they will make me buy a newer laptop. I have the 2015 macbook air ? I might take it to computer services when I'm in town next month to see if they can speed it up. Apple will just have me recycle it ?
  7. no I mean the iPad Air 2. I sent the dimensions to the recruiter and she said it'll fit. I would send the dimensions to one of the nursing recruiters at Duquesne to make sure the iPad fits. I know they said no to the iPad Pro
  8. I have the iPad Air. got it when I went to Chatham University. Educational discount really helps. I don't know if the regular iPad will fit in our scrub pockets. I talked to the recruiter and she said we put our iPad in our scrub top if we aren't taking notes or doing skills. the iPad Air will fit.
  9. That's good to know! I might check it out. Is it free?
  10. hey Kate! I thought I'd share what a previous student told me last night when I asked how to study for nursing because yeah, I don't know. Also, are your clinicals on Tuesdays or Thursdays? I really hope we know soon where we get to be at for the semester. I got an email saying we will get an email with a link for our textbooks in August.
  11. My apartment complex has a lot of study areas if we ever wanna get a group together for studying.
  12. Moving is rough. I'm a ball of anxiety now the closer I get to flying back up to Pittsburgh. ?
  13. Hi John. I'm Mallory. If you're in the facebook group, I'm on there as Mallory Brooke Oates. Maybe we can study together if you live close by the school? I'm 12 minute walk to the school. I live in City View Apartments off of Centre Ave
  14. same ?? Largo, FL isn't known for their bus system. We're known for great beaches lmao. maybe we'll run into each other! I forget your name ?
