Actually, the Columbia program is an accelerated MSN. They mentioned it on their webpage http://www.nursing.columbia.edu/academics/academic-programs/masters-direct-entry-mde. It’s different from most of the other master’s entry into nursing programs in that one has to complete 71 credits of graduate school work within 14 months, where as the program at Johns Hopkins is as long as 2 years. One of the downsides is that you have to pay two years worth of tuition in one year ($112k+ in tuition).

Right, but point being, the other commenter said it’s not a top 50 ABSN program. But it could never be, not because it’s a bad program necessarily, but because it doesn’t award a BSN, if the list he or she is referring to is only for ABSN programs.
