Thread for the incoming 2019 Duke ABSN applicants so we can help each other out through the application process.

I will most likely go to their visiting day. Will post the stats when I find out. ?
For those of you still deciding between good schools, I would go with the cheaper option. Take it from someone who has paid back undergraduate and graduate school loans! I know nurses who went to less prestigious schools who are working at some of the top hospitals. At the end of the day, it’s still the same degree (and your wallet will thank you).

is OHSU a good school? or have you heard of it?

Yes, I actually really wanted to apply there but didn't want to pay for another expensive class to take their genetics requirement! I spoke to a clinical researcher recently who works a lot on their campus and he said it is a good program. Not to mention, there is a Portland campus (affordable cost of living)! I don't know their ranking for an accelerated bachelors but consider their grad school ranking. ? https://www.ohsu.edu/xd/education/schools/school-of-nursing/about/news-events/2018-us-news-rankings.cfm

Congrats! When did you hear from them? I am still waiting on them...and YES their program cost is so much cheaper than Duke. No brainer for sure.
