Duke ABSN Fall 2011

Hi all!

I know its early and the application isn't due until December 1st, but I was wondering if there was anyone else out there applying to the Duke ABSN program to start in August of 2011! I've already read through some of the previous semesters' threads and it seems like a great outlet for discussion/ questions/ nerves!

I got accepted!!! Now for the decision making....when do you guys think we should hear back from financial aid? Congrats to all the first and second rounders!

I don't remember them saying exactly how soon we'd hear from financial aid, but definitely before April 1st. I might call them tomorrow and make sure they have all of my info.

I think financial aid is supposed to arrive by 3/1, so that 1st rounders have a month to decide

accepted! fairly set on another school, but I'll have to do some soul searching this month. congrats to those accepted and good luck to those in waiting!

Upenn!!! I am there now as an undergrad! Congrats! You are going to love it! The nursing school here and the professors are what made me want to become a nurse. Great choice!

I was second rounded too. I am definitely upset that I wasnt accepted, but not sure how else to feel about it. Does anyone know the chances of getting in if you are in second round? Im pretty sure 80 acceptances went out today, but I would like to know how many are in the second round and how many were declined.

Congrats to everyone accepted! For those of us still waiting there is still hope and lots of other great schools. Keep us posted on what you decide folks. :)

Bananaducks- I'm at UPenn too! I work in a lab in the med school doing research.... Small world, huh?

on the link on acceptance letters, it sounded like financial aid would be available mid march and you would have access to it after you sent in your deposit and enrollment form. I could be wrong, but I plan to call soon to find out more.
