Duke ABSN Fall 2011

Hi all!

I know its early and the application isn't due until December 1st, but I was wondering if there was anyone else out there applying to the Duke ABSN program to start in August of 2011! I've already read through some of the previous semesters' threads and it seems like a great outlet for discussion/ questions/ nerves!

absolutely school24! i don't know if i can get them since I just signed up for this site but go for it! Housing around Penn is a specialty of mine! :)

ok i just called, and they said we would have at least a month with the financial aid info to make a decision. They are planning to send out the information soon via email.

Hey Everyone!

Congrats to those who got accepted and good luck to those on the wait list!! I can't believe how many 2nd rounders there are as well.

I also was accepted but got into my first choice last week so I'll be declining as well. Good news for those 2nd rounders :)

was duke? no. luckily i applied to a few programs. what about you?

It was the only program that I applied for because UNC requires you to have your bachelor's degree first. I will be graduating in the Summer around June. Did you get accepted to any of the programs?

Does anyone know anything about Spring enrollment? If the worse case scenario occurs and I'm not accepted after second round but still interested in enrolling in the spring would I have to apply all over again?

I vaguely remember hearing that you'd have to start the process all over again but I thought I'd ask here.

I know that Duke accepts about 56 people to be in the Spring enrollment. From the past posts that I have read, there are not as many applicants in the Spring enrollment as there are in the fall enrollment. The only thing that you may have to do again is the interview. I think that they transfer your application and your information to the spring enrollment application.

Hopefully none of us will have to do that.
