Duke ABSN Fall 2011

Hi all!

I know its early and the application isn't due until December 1st, but I was wondering if there was anyone else out there applying to the Duke ABSN program to start in August of 2011! I've already read through some of the previous semesters' threads and it seems like a great outlet for discussion/ questions/ nerves!

Hello all! I received an email from that fantastic person earlier this morning around 9:09 am. She stated,

"We had a delay with getting the letters out. I am hoping this will be resolved today or tomorrow. I can't release any decisions yet."

I am truly hoping that something is sent today. I am tooooo anxious.

Phew that makes me feel better! Thank you for sharing that information!!!

I hope that they have figured everything out since that email is 4 hours old. I can seem to get anything done until I find out...sending positive energy to all the applicants:)

Apparently the decisions have been made but they are waiting for the Dean to approve everything. I was told that letters will be sent tomorrow or Friday at the absolute latest. This is too much!

I really hope that we find out tomorrow. From the other posts that I have seen from Fall 2010 and Spring 2011, they found out literally a day after decisions. I guess it may be because we had more people. I would just like to wake up tomorrow morning and read some good newsâ˜ș

Well another day and no word - I'm glad that I haven't been going through this by myself! Even though we've never met I'm glad some people out there know exactly how I feel!!

Ok I am mentally set on Thursday being the big day. However, if we've already waited this long, I know we can be patient enough for Friday as well. At this point, the odds of a decision this week are pretty good so I'm pretty much at peace... well at least until I hear my mail ring go off.

Thanks so much for the update! I think my cortisol levels are through the roof with all this stressful waiting ;) Now that UNC has canceled their summer program, everything is riding on Duke for me. Hoping to get good news soon.
