Drug seeker t-shirt?

Very funny but don't know if anyone would have the guts to wear it! Must have been written by a nurse though!!

They need to make one for abdominal pain next where the only thing that works is Dilaudid. (Even though it slows everything down and makes the problem worse in many cases.)

I would get one and wear it under my scrubs on those nights I just know are going to be bad. It would bring me a chuckle when the you-know-what is hitting the fan.

Not wearing scrubs in the UK I hadn't thought of that - something to consider when I get over to your side of the pond!:roll

The one I have now for the nights I know it's going to be bad says "Keith Richards for President" and has his picture looking like the walking dead in the 70s. I'd love to go in the old people's room wearing it for all to see.

OMG, too funny. I'd love to have one, but I don't know when I would wear it. I guess I could wear it to work and have it under a lab coat, and then show it to my coworkers when we all need a chuckle. =)

Or I could wear it loud and proud. :) Because shoot, if my LPN had the guts to wear a shirt to work one night that said "Drink 'Til You Want Me", then I should have the guts to wear this one. =)

Thanks for the post. My husband works in the ER and sees a number of drug seekers on a daily basis. I ordered the t-shirt for him.

I ordered two different ones from the site, one for my charge nurse. We had an ortho doctor throw a horrible temper tantrum at the nurses station one day last week. He got so mad that his bald spot turned purple. Our unit director came out of her office and before she could say anything, he told her to shut her mouth and that he did not want to hear anything from her. This whole scene was over a post-op patient not having their ted hose on. So I ordered her the "Who is Ted Hose" t-shirt for my charge nurse.

Dang this thread cost me $55.00!
