Dream job if you weren't an RN

I just wanted to start a fun thread for once (mine are usually venting about my job hehe)...

I'm curious... What would your dream job be if you weren't an RN?

I'll go first: I'd love to own a little boutique by the beach or in a city. I love the idea of owning my own business and I think it would be fun!

I would want my own little cubicle, blocked off from the whole wide world, a computer to do my work, and for everyone to leave me alone for 8hrs. I would like to pee when I have to, eat my lunch at the same time Mon-Fri, and if I have to work on Sat, it would be OT!! Holidays would be for my family. Ahhhh, I would find my peace

If money were no object.. I'd have an animal rescue for all those hospice patients who worry where will my pets go after I am gone.?

I have seen more than a few pets get tossed out after a loved one dies. ( I have rescued a few and own one.. LOL )

I want Anthony Bourdain's job from travel channel "No Reservation". Every time i watch that show...i only imagine traveling, tasting food, knowing local culture, drinking local liquor/wine, having a blast...Ahhh my dream job..basically have vacation every single day of my life while having awesome food around the world :)

I thought nursing was my dream job!!! lol I don't know what else I would do. I want a job that doesnt hurt my footsies as much!!! 1st yr of nursing and got plantar fasciitis!!(as I sit here at 4am icing my foot)... Now that I think about it, I would want to be a professional Basketball player!!! Oh how I miss bball!!! I was so much smaller then!!

The only reason I became a nurse instead of a veterinarian was because I didn't think I could put animals (especially healthy ones) to sleep... now I wish I had done what I really loved.... c'est la vie right? Never really wanted to be an MD though... a naturopathic veterinarian is my dream.... :paw:

If money were no object, I'd own an eclectic used bookstore/bistro. One in a large historic home with different rooms for different genres, and comfy already broken in arm chairs and loveseats to hang out in, with the bistro area on the main level...a homey kind of "I feel comfortable and can just hang with my kooky bookworm friends" place.

Came across a place like that when in London almost twenty years ago and fell in love with it.
