I'm officially finished with my program and waiting to take the NCLEX. Woohoo! Nursing school was not easy. I hardly know what to do with all the time I have off now. Can't decide whether to loaf around and sleep for a few days, or catch up on all the social activities I've been missing since I started school.

Congratulations! I also finished nursing school yesterday. Eagerly looking forward to NCLEX. I'd be taking a break during the holidays and resume studying immediately after

Hooray! "Weee are the champions, my frieeeend..."

Congratulations!!! It was tough but will be well worth it. Merry Christmas :)

Yup, graduated on Monday but had to spend the rest of the week doing the Kaplan review course which ends tomorrow. If only I didn't sign up for a lot of extra shifts at work. Oh well. Money is nice.

Congrats to you! I can relate. I graduated last week and took Kaplan this week. I've pretty much been on cloud nine. Can't believe I made it. It was a hard road, that's for sure. Looking forward to passing NCLEX. Good luck to you!

Specializes in Critical Care.

Congrats

I recommend taking the NCLEX ASAP while all the information is still fresh in your head. I took the NCLEX right away and went to Cancun the next day to relax / unwind for a week!

We aren't able to take the NCLEX until mid-late January at the earliest. :( Not happy about that but nothing I can do.

Specializes in Medical Surgical.

Congrats! I'm also graduating tomorrow and taking the NCLEX in the beginning of January. If all goes well I will start my RN position where I currently work late January.

What state are you in if you don't mind me asking? Just curious how you are able to take the NCLEX so soon after graduation.

Indiana but I know Kaplan makes u take a bunch of tests before you get the ATT. My program uses ATI.

Thanks!

I don't think it's a Kaplan thing as there is no test we have to take now that we've finished the Live review. It's a Maryland thing. They're just slow. More time to study I suppose. Or more time to forget things depending on how you look at it.
