Dominican College ABSN 2021

Published

Hello everybody!

I recently applied to Dominican College Weekday ABSN 2021 and would like to meet current applicants, current or former students.  I would also like to read about others experience and thoughts about the school/nursing program in general.

Let's share our experience through this process.

Thanks!

Seems to me that, they are considering you for a May 2022 start. Did you apply before the deadline? If you applied after Nov 1 most likely they won’t consider you for the next upcoming class because there is a lot of competition. I remember someone told me of a previous class where someone came all the way from California to do the program. Dominican doesn’t have that many slots to begin with. Perhaps they feel you may not finish all the pre reqs in time and it’s difficult to access how well you will do in the program without them or at least some completed with grades.

I think you're right! I thought the same thing. I just wished they had made their reasons more clear rather than have me speculating. I applied before the  Nov 1st deadline. I haven't taken science courses in a while so it makes sense.

OMG I just got home and got a package that I have been accepted into the nursing program.  It came with orientation date materials. This is not the same as the package that was sent that read that I was accepted into the college. There’s a letter that I must send in within 7 days if I accept. Guys keep a lookout for the mail for a package.

That's awesome! Congrats!

Hi!

congratulations again !! I was wondering if you

didn’t mind sharing your stats of your GPA and what you got in your prerequisite? Also do you have any more prereqs that needed to be completed after you been accepted?

thanks!!

I just sent my TEAS results to Dominican. I'm so anxious! This program is my first choice so I'm really hoping that I get in. Sending all of you lots of luck ❤️

Has anyone else heard back from Dominican yet? I’m getting worried if I haven’t heard back yet That I didn’t get in /:

I haven't heard anything else either. I figured most of us would find out after the holidays.

Ugh! I haven't heard anything either. I hope things are just a little delayed. Has anyone heard back yet??

Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year! Has anyone heard back from Dominican yet or spoken to admissions or the director when acceptance letters are being sent?
