Dominican College ABSN 2021

Hello everybody!

I recently applied to Dominican College Weekday ABSN 2021 and would like to meet current applicants, current or former students.  I would also like to read about others experience and thoughts about the school/nursing program in general.

Let's share our experience through this process.

Me too! I guess that puts me at ease a little bit! But hopefully we will be receiving them soon!

Ugh no, not yet! I'm going to give it 2 more weeks. If I still don't hear anything, I'm going to call. I'm getting really nervous too ?

 I'm surprised that no one has heard back yet. Hoping we hear back soon.

Yea it's very strange! I hope there is a delay or maybe they are actually being sent out in February.

Has anyone heard back yet about the ABSN day program? I spoke with someone and they said I should expect acceptance letters to be sent out sometime in January and clearly that wasn't true. Has anyone spoken with someone recently that provided accurate information regarding acceptance letters?

I haven’t heard anything either! I don’t even know who to call to check because this is crazy that we haven’t heard. I feel like even rejection letters should have been sent out by now. I just wanna know!

I know tell me about it! It's very frustrating to be honest. I think if we contact the director of the ABSN program we should definitely get a more accurate answer.

It definitely feels like the program may be disorganized....=/ 

What other schools have you applied to/ are considering?

I am considering applying to other schools but Dominican is my number 1 choice! A lot of schools have a 5 year mark for prerequisites so I'm really trying to avoid having to do anatomy I & II over again because that would really push me back.

I think you’re right! I’ve applied to mercy college and sacred heart and now I’m looking into Iona college. They just bought out Concordia college and took over their accelerated nursing program. Trying to keep my options open honestly.
