I will be so glad when this election is over, and I know I am not alone. There is no perfect candidate...never was and probably never will be. But this one has been especially interesting.....not interesting in a good way.
I voted. I did my American duty. I even have a sticker to prove it..should anyone ask.
Even though the election is over.....well all the mud-slinging......now we are all glued to the TV to see how this movie will end. I mean....really...with all the high-powered drama, this does seem like a soap opera....or a horror movie.....or maybe even sci-fi. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.....it did...time and time again.
Many people tried to justify why to vote for one candidate over the other. Or was it....who is the lesser of the two evils?
So here I sit listening to all the talking heads with their projections and analysis of what is happening and who voted for who and why. It is amazing that some many people turned out to vote. That is good...but it means a lot of people will be disappointed, whoever wins. I hope and pray that the country can come together and wise decisions will be made.
It feels like we've been in a marathon with this long and dirty race. And it looks like it will be a very long night before the winner is announced.
I don't know if I can stay up to wait. Does the PVT work for elections????

Okay, I laughed way too hard at your title. And then I wanted to share it with my husband, but realized he wouldn't get it.

I tried it, but did I get the good or bad pop up?
I thought we needed some comic relief.....since all we can do now is wait. No PVT......

Bad pop up...
Did we get the Good or the Bad pop-up? Only time will tell where this leads. We will have to wait 4 years for a re-take....so we need to make the best of what we have.
Like I said....there were no perfect candidates on this ballot.

Hillary won the popular vote, but lost the electoral college.
Using the PVT would have been just as accurate as the polls.
Most of the polls were waaayy off target..
Yes, I'm currently nursing a deep burning hatred for Nate Silver, who wooed me into complacency.
Wasn't just him. At least he predicted only a 71.4% possibility of a Hillary win. I wasn't feeling that confident about that.
Huffington post predicted a 98% probability of a HRC win. They ran a computer simulation with 10 million possible outcomes, and they got it totally wrong.
Computers aren't so smart.
