Does anyone else have to study about bio-chem-nuclear warfare?!

I'm curious, does anyone else have to study how to deal with a chemical / biological / nuclear attack? I swear this is the 4th time i'm taking a test that somehow includes this stuff in the reading material.

I wonder if this is just my paranoid country or it's like this everywhere...

Oh it's everywhere. We actually have to go and spend a day at a Disaster Preparedness Center.

I'm in patho and we're covering cancer right now so we're reading about how the atomic bombs affected the people of Japan and their genes and mutations. So yep, we are covering it to an extent (a very short extent).

One of my favorite subjects... NS coverage of it is so cursory that it is awareness and little more.
