Do you like the uniforms they give you for your school?

For my school you have to wear uniforms when you start clinical. I've seen other uniforms from other schools around my area and I think mine is the sexiest of them all!!!:D

I'm so thankful that we don't have an all white uniform policy!

Our uniform policy is fairly liberal compared to most. We have a couple of brands to choose from and within those brands, our tops and bottoms can be nearly any style. We wear navy blue pants with ciel blue tops embroidered with the school logo. We're allowed to wear a navy undershirt, long or short sleeved, and a navy warm up jacket embroidered with the school logo. Shoes must be blue, black or white. Not too bad!

We wear the all white uniforms. They are uncomfortable to wear, but being a dude I really don't give a crap how it looks. To quote the great Will Smith from MIB, "You know the difference between you and me? I make this look good.":yeah:

Ugh, ours are all white too, I hate it! White tops, bottoms, socks, shoes, bra, underwear..everything!

We have Navy scrubs from Meridys. They have some nanotech fabric that is supposed to repel fluids. It also makes you sweat like crazy, which is not good when you are already a nervous, sweaty nursing student. They also fit terribly and are not even remotely flattering. The pant waistband comes up to your armpits, so you have to roll the waistband. I gave up and bought a pair of navy scrub pants at Walmart that are a pretty close match.

Oh and I had to pay around $50 for this ugly pair of sweaty scrubs.

no they suck. I just want scrubs is that too much to ask? Apparently so.

Actually our pants are decent, whatever they are treated with the stuff does not stain. I dropped a hamburger on mine and you'd never know.

We wear white bottoms, white tops, whites shoes. Basically, when we move together in a big group, patients gets scared we're going to take them away to a mental institution. Not a good look. Plus, you have to worry all day when it's "your time of the month" and when you get something unspeakable on you, you have to wear it the rest of the day. When the doctor handed me the placenta in clinical today, all I could think was "great, this is going to be on my scrubs all freaking day..."

Ours are all white with the school patch on the left shoulder. They want us to wear white underwear and bras....I don't because I'm black I normally where something my skin tone blends better and then when its that time of the month I always have on an extra pair of legging or compression shorts just in case :-)

O I forgot to mention ours are button ups too and the guys have a zipper....my pants are cut though...but we look like a bunch of orderlies
