For my school you have to wear uniforms when you start clinical. I've seen other uniforms from other schools around my area and I think mine is the sexiest of them all!!!

This thread is funny. Smurfs?! Lol. And yes I'd much rather be a Blueberry than a Marshmallow. So glad ours aren't white! Ours are burgundy tops and bottoms and any brand will do. Nit sure how strict they are about style but the handbook doesn't say anything. Just so long the tops and bottoms are the same shade!

In a word?
No.
Oh and I'm glad we don't have polos. No pockets!

Personally I like our uniforms. They are royal blue scrubs that have the school name and program on the shirt. They can be purchased in Dickies brand or Cherokee brand and they both offer different variations of shirts (1 upper pocket or 2 lower pockets), pants (elastic waist, drawstring, ladies flare leg, etc) and a white lab coat. I really like them compaired to what some others have to wear and am so greatful they are not white!!! The only problem is the all white (and I mean ALL WHITE) shoes. They are very hard to find without a tiny bit of color in them, especially if you don't have narrow feet!

Our weren't too bad. Sky blue tops and bottoms, any brand, with white shoes and socks. The other nursing school in our area had to wear all white. Poor guys!

Hey, I'm not starting school until 2012. Does anyone know what uniforms Aria Health SON uses? I'm reading alot of white, white white. Please don't let Aria's uniforms be white? Any responses????

Everyone complaining about the color of their scrubs should be happy! My school makes us wear these cheap sky blue polos that we had to purchase ourselves. Then there are the white elastic pants and white jacket. We seriously look like children in high school or something, completely unprofessional. Best part about it is how ecastatic 90% of the staff is about the uniforms and how professional it looks. Until you get to clinicals and see other schools with their nice and neat navy/black scrub tops with school patches. They actually look like nurses not a bunch of dorks wearing worn out, bacon collared polos

My LVN nursing school uniform wasn't so bad. Blue scrubs for theory and the clinical scrubs were white with blue trim on the sleeves and a patch on one side. Also my school was too irgid in that you could buy your own scrubs with the exception of the clinical top to fit you better as long as they were the same color.
Better than the one's I've have to wear when I start the nursing portion of my LVn bridge zip up tunics eeew

I just got accepted into the traditional program at UofL and I actually like the uniforms. You have to buy the scrub top because it has the school's logo on it, and it's red and black. We can wear any black scrub pants, so I can get the boot cut/flared ones from cherokee that I like...and then just black shoes, which I have a cute and comfy pair of pumas to wear. I'm so excited!!

Ours is royal blue tops and bottoms, all white shoes, a blue polo, and lab coat. All tops have the nursing school logo and name on them. I really don't want to wear the polo's, but it's no big deal. I just wish I new what style and brand we are suppose to purchase.
