Hi, I keep on moving up my test date because I feel that I am not ready..It saddens me that I have to do this..There is just so much information to learn..I was wondering, do any of you get depressed from studying for the NCLEX or maybe it is just me?

I take the NCLEX on thursday, the more I study the less I know. I'm going to stop studying tomorrow around 5 and rest my mind.
Yes a lot of info. Went back to look at hormones, genes, viruses, rDNA, just where do you stop. I know what you are saying.

it all will be over before you know it, even though it may not feel like it now

I think what you should do is to be positive about it. When I was studying for NCLEX, I felt excited .... well of course there also was the element of fear .... and lots of what ifs .... but hey , just say to yourself that you can do it! If others can , so can you! Focus on what you're doing, do the questions religiously at least 100/day (I used Saunders and Lippincott) and the most important thing, forget the books the day before the test. I know it seems easier said than done especially when you're still preparing but if you just follow these simple steps ..... you will definitely survive and beat the beast! Good luck to you .... sending positive vibes your way.

I got so fed up & depressed when studying for this exam & then it was over in just 1 hr 15 minutes! All that heartache for that!!
Someone once posted a comment on the N-CLEX forum that I have never forgotten - s/he said "if you know your stuff it's a 45 minute walk in the park" Well I wouldn't be quite as brazen as that but it sure helped me stay positive!!
Be positive, set your test date & STICK with it, then go ACE the exam!!

Yes, I do get sick of studying for NSUXX a second time. This time I'm reviewing everything in Saunders Comprehensive. It does get depressing when your future rides on this lousy test.

I get excited, depressed, frustrated, and excited again. I have been studying all Kaplan and MedPub, but mostly Kaplan. I am concerned because I am learning a ton, and feeling way more comfortable with the test as I practice more and more, but my % score isn't really changing too much. Anyone else experience this?

I am really glad that Iam nt alone. I feel this way most of the time. I believe i will pass the nclex but i want that posotive ending with my own nursing liscene number. We all can do it look at all the posotive stories on this website. I thank GOD for shedding light on this website.Goodluck !!!
I never took NCLEX before..In about a week and a half I will..If I fail, I would be more depressed than I am now...Studying for the thing is making me very unhappy because there is a broad base of knowledge and a person does not know where to focus on..In nursing school, at least there was a central focus but NCLEX is whatever they throw at you..
im feeling frustrated again ..i moved my test again.. shish.. this is not my first time to take it either i should walk into the testing center and be like popopye .. maybe i should take some spinach... i should be confident and excited. well i think becuz of my lifestyle i have. financial stress so both things are in the way. i love this forum its so useful and i feel great getting encouraged..
