Direct Entry of nursing Fall 2018 at Simmons

Hi everyone,

I didnt see a forum for this so I thought I would start one. I applied to Simmons College Direct Entry for fall of 2018. I was reading older threads and it seems like people dont hear back until mid january

I don't believe Simmons had a deadline, but it might be wise to update your transcripts so that they can see the grades you got in the fall and NursingCAS can update your GPA

I just sent an email to [email protected] with a PDF of my unofficial updated transcript and that was enough! No need to send it to nursingCAS.

In case anyone was wondering about decisions, I just received an email back saying they won't go out until February, early March at the latest :nailbiting:

I was told that their plan is to send our admissions decisions by mail by the 1st week of February!

I also heard the first week of February. Though, my experience with other schools has been that many of us heard different things leading up to the admissions decision. They may just be placating us by giving rogue answers! Either way, hope to here as soon as possible!!

Thanks for all the updates, guys!! At least we (hopefully) now know that we have till the first week of Feb. I was starting to get more and more anxious now that it's mid January! Good luck to everyone :)

They had told me that too but I just received my acceptance email this morning! They said the review process for direct entry was complete and decision letters were being mailed out today. So be on the lookout everyone and good luck!

Hey everyone, I also applied to Simmons and am anxiously waiting for a decision! Where's everybody from?

Congratualtions! Has anyone else received an email yet? I called and they said they were coming in waves, but that we will definitely hear by the end of next week through the mail. Getting very nervous now!

I thought Simmon's only notifies by mail? I just called to see if they received my updated transcript and the lady said that decisions would be mailed out in the next couple of weeks.

Congrats! I received an email that decision letters were going out this next week but it didn't say whether I was accepted or not.
