  1. I was accepted and also received the email this morning. I think it was generic because it didn't even say my name like the other emails they have sent out. Just thought I would let you know for reference. Good luck with everything!!
  2. I also just declined my offer for admission. Good luck to everyone on the waitlist!
  3. I got in for FNP and it said I received a scholarship in the email!
  4. They told me it would be through email!
  5. The person I interviewed with's title was "visiting clinical instructor" so that kind of makes me wonder if she doesn't know much about the program and was simply misinformed.
  6. Hi everyone! I just called admissions and explained that I need to put my deposit down for Boston College on Friday and they told me that they are hoping to finalize decisions today and the goal is to send out decision emails on Friday. He said that they are working hard to make this happen because they know many people have decisions to make. He also noted that accepted students day will be March 3rd and the deposit will be due shortly after that! Good luck everyone!
  7. I had my interview the other day and it went well on my end but the interviewer didn't have answers for most of my questions. The program seems very disorganized and there seems to be a lack of communication across the board. From what I got from my interviewer is that the first part of the program is all in person, then you work for a full year (1 yr from when you get an RN job), then you apply for the master's portion of the program (admission to your cohort is not gaurenteed and you are competing with general master's students), and then that program is part time online. I was not at all impressed and have decided against Northeastern after this interview. Other programs seem to have it a bit more together.
  8. I just got my email for an interview today so don't worry if you haven't yet!
  9. I just got my email that I was accepted for AGNP! I'm still not totally sure if this is the route I want to go because I initially applied for FNP, but I guess it is nice to have this option.
  10. I am also concerned about both of these things. The BC curriculum is starting to seem too short to me. If you look at their NP year classes in comparision to those at other schools, it just doesn't compare. I am thinking that I would rather take more time in school and feel more confident when I come out. BC is 77 credits while MGH IHP and Simmons are both 93 credits. I was also given the option to pick AGNP over FNP. At first it seemed like a great alternative, but now I am starting to worry that I won't be able to get the job I want with that specialty. I want to work in a primary care practice in a high need area and an NP that I know said that her office would not hire any NPs that are not FNPs because they desperately need people who can cover all populations. I guess we all have a lot to think about now.
  11. Yes it was a large envelope!
  12. I went to an information in the fall and most of the information they gave I already knew from their website but it did get me more excited about their program!
  13. Just got my acceptance in the mail!! Check your mailboxes! Good luck everyone!
  14. I got waitlisted for family but they offered me a spot for AGNP!!!!!!
  15. No, I'm kind of hoping that none of us have had changes to our portal yet and that is also why we haven't heard? Idk
