Hi everyone,

I didnt see a forum for this so I thought I would start one. I applied to Simmons College Direct Entry for fall of 2018. I was reading older threads and it seems like people dont hear back until mid january

Hey! I am so anxious to hear back from Simmons, as it is my top choice as well. I have been accepted to MCPHS and Regis College, but I want to wait as long as I can before submitting the deposit! So I can hopefully hear back from Simmons. Good luck for everyone!! Are you planning to commute to Boston if you get into Simmons?

Yeah, I'm from MA too! I got the email as well, damn near gave me a heart attack seeing something from them. Does anyone know if NursingCAS will update the Status section on the website to show if a decision has been mailed? Looking back at the older threads people were able to see their status change to "decision mailed" but it also looks like someone posted this was the first year Simmons was using NursingCas.

Hi! I got the phone call today and I am accepted!!! SOOO EXCITED! Isn't there a Facebook page or something for students that are accepted? I'd love to have other people to speak to in the program!

Omgosh!!! Congratulations!!! I got the email my application is under review, when did you get the email just so we know how long until we hear from them?

From Chicago here and applied for the MSN-FNP program. I also received the email about my application being reviewed!! Congrats to those who've already been accepted.

For those accepted, how was the interview? Does anyone know if Simmons does Skype interviews (I skimmed through other posts but can't recall)?

Hey everyone!

Just to clarify, as some of the posts here are confusing me, is this the thread for people that are applying to the Direct Entry MSN program for those that have a bachelor's degree in something other than nursing? I didn't think there was an interview, and I didn't know we chose specialties, which is why I wanted to check in! Make sure I'm not getting something wrong, here.
