Didnt pass the first time , any advice for second time

Hello I am in need for support right now, i did not pass the Nclex the first time around , I am secheduled August 13 for round two. I have been studying Kaplan Q Bank and 2 chapters in Saunders daily. Has anyone taken this for the second time , what was it like . Was it easier , the same or what .Let me know

I have the book and finished chapter 16 quizzess. Do I need to finish all chapter test before I PM Suzanne?

Yes, you need to complete the whole book. You also need a test date, then pm her.

hey,

i am also in the same boat as you. i failed the first time (265Qs) and i will be taking nclex again by the end of sept, hopefully. im just waiting for my ATT so i can re-schedule. i felt like my questions fluctuated a whole lot from easy to super hard. LOTS of priority questions for me.

i know how it feels after failing twice it is really hard specially with a baby but i need to organized and prioritize my study coz i felt incomplete that this nclex kept holding me back to establish my life thats why i want to have those who already have the suzannes plan with my self review too i know God is working through her by giving advice for free. God will bless her for these

I had to take the NCLEX twice! First time around it was 265 questions. Second time around it was.........265 questions!!! I was absolutely sure that I failed again. But I didn't. So the number of questions does not indicate if you pass or fail. All I can tell you is; don't give up ! I bought Prentice Hall/Pearson Comprehensive Review for NCLEX with practice CD and went over almost all the questions they offer on the CD. It was actually fun ! Good luck next time !!

Would always recommend latest edition so 3rd if doing PN and 4th if doing RN

I too have taken the NCLEX 4 times and so far have not passed. I feel like giving up and not taking it anymore. please any help with study tips would be greatly needed.

What Nclex books are people using to study from that usually pass the test?

For any of you out there looking for some other help, there is a company called Peterson's. Just go to Petersons.com and they have practice tests. They are not easy and much like NCLEX. It is $25.00 for 3 tests (180 ?'s each) It gives you 5 hours to answer. I found it VERY helpful because it gives you rationales for the ones you missed. I only used one of the tests. I took the NCLEX-PN and passed first time. Good luck.

Just took test with 120 questions....am sure I didn't pass. What is the extension program? Would you recommend that over Kaplan. Any info will be greatly appreciated!!!
