Did the PVT trick and paid the 200

Published

Hi all. I'm a graduate from a foreign nursing school. So I took the NCLEX-RN earlier this morning in MD. My test started at around 8:30 and I was done by 10:30 mostly because I decided that those questions that I had no clue on (which were admittedly quit a few), I'd just guess and keep moving.

At around 1:30 this afternoon, I tried the PVT trick and it took me all the way to the end where I put in my cc info and it was accepted. I'm awaiting a new ATT from my Board... I'm so discouraged right now because if this PVT trick really works, then that means I've failed.

I'd really like to know if there is anyone out there who actually paid the 200 and later on found out that they had passed. I've read so many posts on getting "the good popup" and passing and not enough on people who have actually gotten the bad pop-ups. Anyone out there who has been in this situation or something similar please reach out to me through this forum. Thanks

Have you received a response?

is it possible to pass the nclex rn exam even they charge you $200?

no, i am still waiting for some response.

Its not common to pay the $200 and still pass, but yes it has happened. Some repeatedly try the test incessantly after getting the "good" pop-up and after several dozens of attempts get charged. A few hit a glitch along the way and ended up donating $200 non refundable when they see their name with a license on the BoN website or see "pass" on quick results. Its not likely but it's not impossible. There have been a handful of reports in this forum

Well that is handful of hope for me. ill just wait for 2 days. thankyou

I took NCLEX RN last Thursday, August 27 at 0830am, finished at 1100. I did the PVT at 1pm and says insufficient fund please check...... I tried again and went to the confirmation page and got the receipt via email. So i paid $200. Does that mean I failed? I feel so devastated right now. I couldn't sleep and eat :( anyone on the same boat?

You did it too early so now there's no way to tell. At this point all you can do is wait for the quick results from PV or the official results from your BON which is what you should have done in the first place.

No, it means you paid $200. If you were so determined to do the PVT, you should've waited the 24 hours. But your best bet is getting the unofficial results if your state participates.

California does not participate in quick results. It's a torture. I feel so miserable:cry:. Thank you FlyingScot and OrganizedChaos.

Hey,

I'm in California and took the nclex-pn on 8/27/15. I tried the PVT on 8/28/15 (26 hours later) and got the good pop-up. I used a pre-paid visa gift card. Now to wait 3-4 weeks for my actual results and see if I passed:oldman:

I checked the California breeze like 10x/day if my name will show up but nothing! :cry:4 days of torture now. I am still hoping and praying that it will show up tomorrow or the next day or until I receive my official results. Does anyone know how long do I wait to receive the official results from CA BON? My classmates got their results at breeze website after 24-48 hours.

can somebody tell me if I really failed? It's been 4 days now and nothing showing up on Ca breeze :( I was able to re register and paid $200 right after my nclex that's why I really feel I didn't pass.

No. Nobody can tell you if you failed. We just can't.
