Did anything really help you pass nclex?

Published

Ive read a few post about what the best book to buy for nclex review, and seems like noone really says how much they helped, more like how nothing really compares to the real test. Maybe there is another way to study? Its seems like nclex must be more about how you feel about safety than what you know about med surg since ive heard that nclex test on stuff you havent really studied... maybe that kaplan decision tree is better than people think when you add in maslow/abc's.

They have a terrible passing rate and the education was not the best. They are on probation for 2 years now so they were doing exit classes and trying to "help" us by having weekly classes with different professors. Most professors always canceled their classes and I think I only attended one exit class due to the teacher's canceling. I'm trying my best to catch up and pass the first time (as all of us want to do)

I believe if you do a lot questions (A LOT) you can do it !! And review the part you have no idea Of it.

I've done over 6000 questions, reviewed all rationales, and I reviewed all of the content I could with Hurst. I test on 1/21 (rescheduled from 1/24). I think I'm ready!!

Hello, I failed the test on 1/14/15. DO you still have the study guide? Or how can I get it?

I do agree with the comment above. You will pass when it is time for you to pass. I did all i could kaplan, hurst, ncsbn, I still failed. Some did not do that much and passed. I prayed and did all I know to do. Some folks did not study as much as I did nand passed the first time.... I failed at 75.

I think if you failed at 75, you did not do really well. Otherwise you might take more questions. I think you know your topics but you need to learn test taking strategies. How to eliminate and how analyze q. Like kaplan decision three. Probably you did wrong your priority questions since most people gets a lot that type of questions.
