BA in Sociology... I find it helpful as just about every patient has some social/family dynamic issues that can be addressed during their stay....

After high school, I originally majored in EE in college but, then, switched to Theatre Arts-- what a switch, for an ex-jock! Trying to emulate a non-conformist's bohemian persona and lifestyle did not mesh too well with academia, at least for me. Ole Dad had finally had enough and insisted I enlist in the military. It gave me the direction I desperately needed, thank goodness! Oh! Hoping to start BSN program next year -- I'll be done with all prereqs. this summer.

BA Russian Language and Literature with a minor in Business Administration (Washington State University 1991)
Pretty smart degree at the time with Gorby opening things up, then we went into recession and the USSR collapsed and all of the job opportunities dried up. I didn't time that too well.
Certificate course in Teaching English as a Second Language.
Figured I could go to Russia and teach English for the Peace Corps. Family illnesses stopped that.
Best decision I ever made. Now if I can just find somewhere where I can use my dwindling Russian skills and nursing...
