Anybody thinking about El Centro/ Northlake in the DCCCD for Jan 2006?
((((((((((((((((((((( good vibes to everyone )))))))))))))))))))))))))))
let's all take this time to be thankful for the intelligence we all have to have even made it to the application process which, as fun2care mentioned earlier, is a great achievement in itself. :thankya:
i wish everyone the best of luck.
For some reason they thrive on watching us nervously wait! I don't think they would do anything to alleviate that!Deep breaths...deep breaths.....
I thought about calling & asking the cut-off GPA, but decided against it. ....That would take away all of the anticipation! lol (even if they would give it out already)
Not long at all now!!!
A guy in my A&P II class attended the most recent nursing info session at El Centro (on Monday, I think). They were told the highest GPA for the Spring 06 applicants was 3.77!!! They were also told that out of 500+ taking the NET, only about 238 were eligible to apply!
I have been so excited since he told me this, but I was hesitant to share just in case he was given the wrong info. I can't keep it to myself any longer. I just hope it's true. I had prepared myself for bad news, thinking a 3.77 with 6 hours of support classes would not be good enough. Now I am quite hopeful.
Good luck everyone!!
Wow, faceinbooks82, you'll definitely get in!! :)
I'm sure the cut-off GPA is 3.77, as it has been that way for the past two semesters.
Now, most of us just need to worry about the # of support courses.
I didn't realize so many people wouldn't pass the NET. That is sad.
WHY, OH WHY, DID THAT GUY NOT ASK ABOUT THE NUMBER OF SUPPORT CLASSES?????
