Anybody thinking about El Centro/ Northlake in the DCCCD for Jan 2006?
Hello to all! I check in each day to see if anyone from our group has received their acceptance letter. I'm hoping we get our letters on Friday. Then if not Saturday, Monday for sure! If I have to wait past Monday I will probably go insane. I can't believe this is our last week.
Good luck to everyone. I hope we all make it and get our first choice of schools. It's nice to know I'm not all alone in stressing out.
I am thinking we will get it either Monday or Tuesday. I would be happy to get it on Saturday because I don't want to have to go through the whole weekend to wait. We don't get our mail till around 3 pm. I am getting so nervous!! I was talking to a professor here at Eastfield who has been around for a long time and knows a lot about nursing and the schools and he said that El Centro has a HUGE dropout rate because it is so hard. THey do have a high percentage of people who pass the NCLEX but in reality most people who go into the program drops because it is really hard. Something else to add on to my stress.
That is why ECC's reputation is so high. My aunt graduated from ECC's nursing program, and never regretted a minute of it.
I know how you feel though. I think, Even if I can get in, can I do it? and Even if I can do it, can I pass the NCLEX?
The only thing we can do is go in, determined and motivated, and remain dedicated to our studies.
I'm sure it will be Monday or after. It seems to take longer to get mail from city to city, than state to state. lol (That horse can only run so fast!) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi TXMOM. That is great you are doing the Race for the Cure. I really need to get into something like that. Either for Breast Cancer Awareness or for the PKD foundation.
