Remember how I was saying that I never got my degree plan? Well guess what decided to show up yesterday evening? I can't even describe the amount of excitement I had opening that mailbox and seeing something from El Centro. That was that cruelest thing!!! It was dated October 11 and I got it yesterday so that was pretty quick!! I bet it was that lady in the health occ. office trying to be mean by sending something from El Centro the VERY SAME WEEK that I am waiting for that letter!!!

I just had to share that with everyone because I just can't relay the amount of disappointment I had when I opened that envelope!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That semester that I got rejected the support course hours accepted was13 hours...I am not sure how many total support course hours there are????

Wow, 13? That's how many credit hours I have..There are 17 credit hours total.

That would really freak me out! I got something from Eastfield on Tuesday and even though I knew it couldn't be my letter I was still very anxious to open it. If it came from El Centro, I would have probably collapsed.

But, at least you got it the next day. Maybe there is hope for a letter on Saturday!!!!!

JUST TELL US!!!!! :rotfl:

I hope we all make it.

Yeah that's what my letter said from them last year. I was taking Micro at the time so that hadn't been added into my support course total yet. A friend of mine did get in for the Fall '05 with only 6 support hours so I guess it's just different every semester....

I wonder if they will tell us how many applied. They didn't mention that in my letter. Does anyone know about how many apply?

That would freak me out for sure!

All of these stories are making me so nervous! I realize I have a back up plan (continue with my RN-BSN courses), but I have to get into the RN program first! This wait is terrible!!!

It wasn't so bad when it was 40 days, or even 20 days....but 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!

Yeah, I need to think of a back up plan myself. I've been a SAHM for so long, that if I don't get in, I really need to go back to work.

Me too. I will probably look for a part-time position somewhere close by. Then again, if gas stays high like it is, I'd be spending all my $ that I make on gasoline. :uhoh3:

Yeah, ditto. And daycare too.

I think my backup plan would just be to take classes towards my BSN. I don't have that far to go. I think after this semester I could actually apply for my BSN so that is probably what I would do. Also need to find a job if I am not accepted. Trying not to think negative though. :) Good luck everyone!!
