Anybody thinking about El Centro/ Northlake in the DCCCD for Jan 2006?
Funnie,Step away from the computer!!!
Go study! :rotfl:
YOU FIRST!!!!!!!!!!! :roll

OK, I think I've waisted enough time, I'm heading back to the books. I was going to go into the tutoring center today, but I'll go Thursday. I think it will do more good to go after 2 classes than one. I'm not that lost yet. I just have to memorize these conversions. lol
BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I'm now an official applicant!!!
DH mailed it off today!!! Woohoo!!!
Man, I"ve been waiting for this moment FOREVER. I've been taking classes for awhile but I didn't take them too seriously unfortunately, and my grades reflected that. It's just this past year that I had to retake and took them seriously. I guess it took me getting married and having a baby to get to this point I guess.

Congrats! Good luck to you! :)
BTW, my situation is similar. It really feels good to think about what all you have overcome to get to this point doesn't it? Those with an easy 4.0 doesn't know the feeling of fighting for entry.
I'm sure it will make us appreciate it more.
I didn't have time to visit NLC library last semester. Today I went there before my first class. Have you seen the magazine selection? WOW! They have magazines like Nursing2005, RN, Pediatric Nursing and other nursing related. :yelclap:
I guess I will spend my free time at the library on school days.

That's cool! :) The only time I've been in the new one was for about 3 days during my wintermester English class.
Does it still look empty? I know when the Irving Library and the NLC library parted ways, they Irving Library took a bunch of the books. So, it looked empty. :imbar
I thought about ordering some of the nursing magazines. I love looking at things like that. :)
Well I took the NET today. I posted my score over in the "I Hate Math" thread. I really am disappointed that I didn't ace the math portion of the test.
You'll note that my little sister/mentor Gauge14IV has joined us. She's an RN (ADN, BSN) and currently a F-NP student. She's a big reason why I'm here with you guys and heading where we're all heading.

Congrats!! (....and a big welcome to your sis as well...lol)
I wasn't disappointed that I didn't ace either one. I was just happy it was over, and I made well above the necessary 50 mark! lol
You did a great job, be proud, not upset about it!!!

Yes the NLC library is nice. I hope they get it filled up again since IRving Public pulled out. The Children's Library was so nice.

Really? I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one in this situation. I agree, it will make us appreciate getting in even more.
Hope everyone's classes is going well so far!! I've decided to take the semester off.
