Dansko work shoes. Your opinion?

I just purchased a pair of Dansko shoes, i purchased these exact ones:

I've been wearing them around the house only in case i want to return them. But so far they feel ok, i know some people cannot wear them and think they are terribly uncomfortable.

i have really really flat feet, does anyone have any experience with flat feet and wearing Danskos at work?

What are your opinions on good pairs of shoes to wear at work if you dont like dansko?

I have a really cute pair of Dansko clogs for "off work" time. They are okay. Very cute. I find my feet hurt, though if I wear them long hours, and personally, they wouldn't be great for me at work. I know some people love them. The key to good shoes for me is cushioning, which Dansko doesn't seem to have. Every one is different, though. Some people love them! I guess you have to take a try & see approach. My favorite shoes are SAS "Freetime" which is like a tennis shoe style. It is lace up, but very cushiony for those of us walking on linoleum floors all night. ;-)

Everyone at work that wears Dansko love them. I can't wear them as they are too wide for me. I wear Sanita's, which are comfy. I also own a pair of Timblerland shoes which are like wearing bedroom slippers.

Oh, I hear Dansko's squeak and I see it at work. I can't say anything. My Sanita shoes are quiet so far, but the Timberlands are horrible!

I have Danskos and LOVE them! Everything else i've worn causes my back to hurt before the shift is over. I do have a pair of Danskos that are very squeaky so I dont wear that pair as much. I've been eyeballing Sanitas. Love the colors and patterns of those.

Not all Danskos squeak-I took back the ones that squeak (manufacturing flaw) and haven't heard a squeak yet with my new ones!

Yea?? I almost got the solid navy blue (as our scrub uniforms are navy blue so we have to wear either white shoes or navy blue shoes). So far i really like them.

Thanks for all opinions. I'll try maybe walking with them on different surfaces to see if they squeak. Gosh, i hope not. I'm not wearing them outside yet incase i want to return them.

I love my dansko, I have the black oiled which I got at clogsforcomfort.net for $99 much cheaper than in store!!

I LOVE my Danskos! They take some time getting used to, though. Mine can be squeaky, but everyone can hear me walking down the hall because of the hard sole and I tend to walk heavy lol...but I love them.

Danskos are definitely shoes you're either going to love or hate. If they feel comfy for you around the house, you will probably like them for work. They killed me almost immediately, felt ilke bricks on my feet. Different strokes. :)
