CSUSM ABSN Summer 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi all,

Looking to apply this month for Summer 2020! Anyone else on the same boat? I am currently taking my last class so I expect to update my transcript when grades are posted mid-Decemeber. Anyone from previous cohorts had an issue with this?

I'm a little anxious about my points- I'm in the low 30s but hopefully it will be less competitive in Summer/fall!

I was admitted this morning with 34 points. My application rolled over from the Spring cycle. I don't think i'll be accepting because I've already committed to another program that starts sooner and is closer to my home. Hopefully one of you can take my spot!

If you don’t mind saying.... what was the other school you have been admitted too. I was admitted to Loma Linda for spring. Still deciding what to do.

I don't mind. I was accepted to National University at the San Diego campus. Congrats to you!

Hello! Congrats on being in the program! I got in for this summer program and I’m confused on what to do after placing my deposit and accepting the intent to enroll. Do we just wait for them to send us more information?

Congrats to you as well! Yes they will send you more information soon! My biggest piece of advice for next steps is to read the instructions very carefully for all of the health requirements. Make sure you print out all of the forms and get yourself organized, it can be a tad confusing. It also takes quite a bit of time so don’t procrastinate because you will probably have to fix something. When you get your physical try and schedule your flu shot, titers, TB test, etc all together so you don’t have to go separately each time and make sure the corresponding forms are filled correctly! I also recommend someone make a Facebook group for your cohort(:

I just got notified about our email addresses for the school, and my portal now says 'ready to enroll' under application status...will they provide more information on this and do you remember when they informed you about orientation or any other requirements?
