CSUSM ABSN Summer 2020

Hi all,

Looking to apply this month for Summer 2020! Anyone else on the same boat? I am currently taking my last class so I expect to update my transcript when grades are posted mid-Decemeber. Anyone from previous cohorts had an issue with this?

I'm a little anxious about my points- I'm in the low 30s but hopefully it will be less competitive in Summer/fall!

Does anyone happen to know if today is the only day that people will get accepted for the first round? Or will they continue it within the next few days as well?

Ok yeah you’ll still be with the summer cohort! You just don’t start until fall since you don’t have to do the first semester. They just have to put you down for fall since that’s when your first classes will be

Sounds like 34 is the lowest score admitted so far. As a 33, I am hanging on to hope there's still a chance. ?I'll keep an eye on my status throughout the day and post with any updates ASAP, but I think we may be sitting on pins and needles waiting this one out til the next wave.

Congrats to all who have been admitted, you must be SO excited and I am SO happy for you. For those still waiting, I am right there with you and I wish you ALL the best of luck.

Also, for those who receive an acceptance email, would one of you mind replying to this thread if it happens to mention how much time you have to accept your offer? This might give the rest of us some insight as to when we should expect to hear about the second wave. Thanks in advance!

I applied to CSUSM because it’s close to home and I wouldn’t have to worry about housing and I want to get a BSN rather than an ADN just because it makes my future career goals a bit more streamlined

Ah okay! So, I sent my advisor a quick email about it because I haven't received anything yet, and she said, "It looks like the communications for Fall have not been turned on yet. They should shortly." So for anyone else who has already completed the first three classes and will start in the fall, emails should be coming out soon ?
