  1. Of course, it's no problem! If theirs any new updates, I'll try to keep you updated so you guys aren't left in the dark ?
  2. It's frustrating for all of us cause current cohorts aren't receiving as much info as we'd like either (just like how they told us very minute that our cohort will be moving to SM, while most of us already secured a place in Temecula). But you also have to understand that the faculty is trying to handle everything, especially for all the cohorts that need clinical hours. There's about 6 current cohorts and 1 incoming cohort at this time, so I'm sure it's just as stressful for them to make sure that everyone has their requirements met to graduate. Many nursing schools are in the same situation right now with putting classes and clinicals on hold because of covid 19. Although this is not official nor verified, combining the pool of applicants for this fall & Spring seems to make the most sense to get back to a normal rotation of applicants, instead of having to constantly keep pushing back applicants a full semester. Yes, it's a bigger pool of applicants, but everyone is still evaluated and admitted based on points. This screenshot is an update from the community page for current cohorts that have been admitted.
  3. All the cohorts have been pushed back a whole semester. The Summer cohort will start in Fall & will pretty much become the Fall cohort. The next cohort that is being admitted will be for Spring, none for Fall. Most likely any applicants that have originally applied for Fall will be combined and evaluated with the Spring applicants because the application should be good for a year. Admission might be more competitive because of the number of applicants ?
  4. Hi again, So the school sent us an official email this morning stating that the Summer cohort will now start in the fall semester and will be in San Marcos.
  5. Hey guys! I'm in the Summer cohort, but I thought you guys should also get a heads up about what's been going on. There's a tentative plan that the cohorts will be pushed back a full semester due to everything that's been happening: The current Spring cohort will not have any classes during Summer & will resume in the fall; The Summer cohort will also be starting in fall & will be moved to the San Marcos campus. Our cohort has not been sent any official email about this plan, so many of us are left confused about our living situation (because we don't definitely know if we'll stay in Temecula or move to SM), & we're not completely sure about our actual start date. Because of this plan, the ones that applied for fall MIGHT be put into the pool for Spring applicants. Again, this is not a "set in stone" thing, but hope this kinda gives an idea about what might be happening.
  6. I haven't heard any new updates about Summer classes specifically, but all classes for main campus and temecula should be remaining online until further instruction. As of right now, I'm pretty sure the rest of Spring semester will stay online (correct me if I'm wrong). Hope everyone is staying safe while getting their Complio requirements done ?
  7. Has anyone filled out & signed the HIPAA training acknowledgment form? Since it's a UCSD form, I'm not really sure what to put for Work Area, Position/Role, and Employee ID (I think this is the last 4 digits of SSN, but just want to make sure).
  8. For anyone that has been admitted already, other than the admissions email, have you received any other emails? Like, will they send an email about our student emails and how to activate it? My student center status says "Ready to enroll," and I don't really know what I should do next other than wait for them to send more info lol. I don't know if we should be starting the Complio stuff.
  9. If your evaluation sheet is marked that the 3 classes are met, I don’t think you would have to retake them. So, maybe double check your evaluation sheet on that. If you were accepted for Summer but want to start in Fall, I think you would have to decline the offer and ask for your application to be reconsidered for the Fall cohort. Anyone please correct if I’m wrong on either of these answers ? but I hope this somewhat helps ?
  10. Does anyone happen to know if today is the only day that people will get accepted for the first round? Or will they continue it within the next few days as well?
  11. I'm wondering the same thing haha ?
  12. I haven't taken those courses since they're scheduled to be taken during the first semester of the program (if you haven't taken them already). Info on this can be found on the ABSN website under the "Course Sequence" section. ? Hope this helps!
  13. Hi, If I'm not mistaken, ANTH 301 and PHIL 345 are the required courses we have to take at CSUSM. Those should be part of the first semester courses.
  14. Thanks so much for offering your help! ? I actually have a question about the scheduling of classes, labs, & clinical. Since it's an accelerated program, how many days a week do you spend in class or lab vs. clinical? Is it a struggle to find time to study? One of the big reasons why I looked into CSUSM's program was that the time frame of the program sounds manageable to get 3 yrs worth of work done as opposed to learning everything in as little as 12 months in other ABSN programs. Thanks again for your help!
  15. Hi everyone! I also initially applied for the spring cohort but didn't get in, so I'm hoping I'll have better luck for summer ? Good luck to everyone!
