Hi all, anyone planning on applying to CSUSM's ABSN for Fall of 2021?
I think my overall points are between 40-41, do you think it's a safe score? I was wondering if I should take the TEAS exam again, I got 80.7, but I'm completely exhausted. I completed all the 8 prerequisites courses and TEAS in only 12 months and I need some rest, LOL

The cost wasn't fun, but I'm glad I opted for that route to complete it. In order to complete A&P I had to take them at different schools as well, Grossmont and City. Most people I know have had to jump around and work the waitlist to get the stuff they need.
I will say the Micro class is quality I really learned a lot.
Hi,
Quick question- did you take the UCSD 'Microbiology w/ lab' that is 6 credit units? I want to make sure I am taking the right one. Where can I check the transferability?

Hi @Finskaflicka, you can check at https://assist.org/

I am useless with this stuff ?
It's probably not right, I would recommend reaching out to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) from admissions to confirm.

Hi. Yes, I took the 6 unit version that includes the lab. You have to take the lab in order for the units to count and transfer. I emailed schools last year directly and asked whether a specific online class would count. No issues.

"No course articulated" just means there isn't an official agreement between the schools regarding that class. It doesn't mean that the school has no classes that transfer over.
For UCSD (not extension): CAT 125(R) counts for Oral Comm, CAT 2 for Written Comm, CAT 3 for Crit Thinking, COGS 14B for Stats, CHEM 6C and 7L for Chem w/ Lab, PSYC 2 for Intro Psych, and BIBC 120 for Nutrition. None of that is listed on Assist.

I took an 8 week chem class during Summer 2020, CHEM002A at my local community college, Pasadena City College. CSUSM took it.
Curious to know if anyone who applied around the deadline has gotten their scoresheet? I'm hoping this week will be the week for decisions, but that is dependent on those scoresheets being done. I believe tomorrow will mark 8 weeks since the deadline, which has been the window in the past for acceptance notifications.

Hi! I also applied and am waiting for my evaluation sheet. I think I applied with 41 points. I reached out last Thursday and was told evaluations are taking 12 weeks; I also asked when decisions will be made and that question wasn't addressed in their response, so I am going to assume much longer. I submitted my application mid February, so hopefully I get my evaluation back soon.
From what I've been reading here it definitely sounds like the avg amount of point this application period is much higher. Lets cross our fingers and hope we all get in.
