Effective Fall 2018, Sac State is changing their Selection Criteria for Admissions into the BSN program. I've created this thread for those folks that are planning on applying Fall 2018 to ask questions, share their thoughts, etc. I'm interested to know if the changes make it easier or harder to get accepted. I myself was planning on applying Fall 2018 but may decide to apply Spring 2018 if it's "easier" before the new changes are put into effect.
The selection criteria changes include NEW:
 Admission Point Assignments
 Minimum Admission Point Total
 Minimum Science GPA
 Adjusted Nursing GPA
 Standard Units
 Repeat Policy
 TEAS Points
 Optional Criteria Points

I too am dying for info. I swear I read somewhere that we would receive feedback a month after submitting our applications, but now I don't see that anywhere. In any case, I'm planning to go to the next group advising session on April 17 to try and get more info about the current application cycle - and possibly info about reapplying since it seems that the class was a bit crazy this cycle.
Yeah, the stats were supposed to be out 2 weeks ago. I think it's because the online application increased applicant pool, which is why Teri is taking a bit longer finalizing the applications. Hopefully, it comes before we have to sign up for classes. I want to email Teri, but I'm sure she's bombarded with questions about the admissions right now, so I'm just patiently playing the waiting game...
Please update us on what you find out during the advising session!
If you guys would like to come to a group advising session with nursing students in the program (it's kind of like a Q and A), there is one being held on April 13th at Folsom Hall. Even if you don't have specific questions, you can always just talk about the program with students and then stay for a CNSA meeting afterwards! Everyone is welcome :)

Don't miss the chance to register for classes! If you get in, they will be dropped and replaced with nursing classes.
Of course, fingers crossed everyone gets an answer before registration. :)
If i'm not mistaken, Rm 1051 at 4:00. If I hear anything differently, i will let you know.
Even if you don't have a ton of questions, its cool to get to know the students and what nursing school is like. The people at the meetings are really nice and helpful, from what i've heard. Sometimes they have tips for those wishing to enter the program; either way it's a good experience and it's nice to get involved.
@Chimichanga96, I agree. I really need to know if I got in or not, because I need to change my major and then pick classes for the summer or fall. I have a hold on my account because I'm a Pre-Nursing Major and have completed over 65 units. This situation is scaring me because it seems the applicant pool was much larger this semester!I am also just playing the waiting game at this point, there's not much we can do right now!
