Effective Fall 2018, Sac State is changing their Selection Criteria for Admissions into the BSN program. I've created this thread for those folks that are planning on applying Fall 2018 to ask questions, share their thoughts, etc. I'm interested to know if the changes make it easier or harder to get accepted. I myself was planning on applying Fall 2018 but may decide to apply Spring 2018 if it's "easier" before the new changes are put into effect.
The selection criteria changes include NEW:
 Admission Point Assignments
 Minimum Admission Point Total
 Minimum Science GPA
 Adjusted Nursing GPA
 Standard Units
 Repeat Policy
 TEAS Points
 Optional Criteria Points

Hi everyone, I'm a couple spots from getting off the waitlist. I don't have an enrollment date on my student center, so I'm not sure when to register for classes (and also which classes to sign up for). Teri said not to miss the chance to sign up for classes. Any help would be appreciated
Hi there! When Teri said "not to miss the chance" to sign up for classes, she meant that for continuing students or for those who still need to sign up for other GE courses. I got in from the waitlist not too long ago, and I was first signed up for health science courses just for back up. Once I got in, I dropped all my classes. Also, we were told that SON will do all the scheduling for us, so we don't have to enroll ourselves to any of the NURS sections available on student center.
Hope this helps!
and you're #22? i am #25 just hoping to hear soon. Also what happens after you're admitted from the waitlist? have you attended orientation yet?
Yes, 22. Good luck!!! Hoping the best for you! You get a list of all the things you need to get done before class starts. BLS certification, background check, etc. it's all submitted through a "portal" that they ask you to sign up for.
Mandatory student orientation isn't until the end of August. I'm a second bachelors so I don't have to go to the University orientation.
