CSUS Sacramento State Fall 2018

Published

Effective Fall 2018, Sac State is changing their Selection Criteria for Admissions into the BSN program. I've created this thread for those folks that are planning on applying Fall 2018 to ask questions, share their thoughts, etc. I'm interested to know if the changes make it easier or harder to get accepted. I myself was planning on applying Fall 2018 but may decide to apply Spring 2018 if it's "easier" before the new changes are put into effect.

The selection criteria changes include NEW:

 Admission Point Assignments

 Minimum Admission Point Total

 Minimum Science GPA

 Adjusted Nursing GPA

 Standard Units

 Repeat Policy

 TEAS Points

 Optional Criteria Points

I got my acceptance as well

Alternate #38. Is there somewhere I can see the last alternates accepted for previous semesters? It doesn't show in the applicant pool stats link; just how many declined/were ineligible. Like I know for spring '18 it was the 15th alternate, but I don't see any mention of that there.

I don't recall seeing that information but I do remember for Fall 2017 it went down to 41 or 43. I am still on the fence but likely will not accept the offer so good prospects for you!

I haven't received any email and it's 7:07pm .. Does this mean I'm not in?

What was the point cut off before the waiting list?

I'm alternate #14. Congratulations to everyone who got in, and good luck to all of us in the waitlist!
