Hello RNtobe2016, I have another question again: I see on the previous post that you had a question about licence and car situation....i'm on the same situation no license or a car....do I have to have one? because I did not see the end result about the question of that on your previous posts. You'll need to talk with the clinical coordinator to let her know that you have reliable transportation arranged, eg. bus, uber, etc.

Admission to the university is not the nursing program. They are separate

I got mine today. Not as exciting as being accepted to the program, but I guess acceptance to the University is half the battle right? Maybe a quarter of the battle?

I also received the letter from the university, but I still have not received any confirmation email from the nursing department saying my application is complete:( this is a bad sign:(

I have applied to the program but do not live in the LA area. I wonder, is there anyone that could share information about the program? What is the quality of the clinicals/teachers? How hard is it - what is the retention rate? Is there anything else that you can share about the program? I will be visiting LA in mid-March, is there any way to talk to the current students?

Hi All, I just came across the following information in the CSUN university catalog:

The Accelerated B.S.N. Option is on hiatus. Admission has been suspended as of Fall 2017. The program is not accepting applications at this time.

Nursing, B.S.N. - Accelerated

Does anyone have any information about why the program is on hiatus starting Fall 2017?

Also, does anyone know if ABSN students are required to compete the Upper Division Writing Requirement? English is my second language and I wonder how hard is it to pass the exam. The BSN catalog states that this is required but CSUN 2015-16 has the following information:

Second Bachelor's students in the Nursing major do not need to complete the Upper Division writing proficiency requirement.

Second BachelorÃ¢Â€Â™s Degree Requirements
