Hi Everyone! I was searching around and couldn't seem to find a thread for the spring and fall 2016 ABSN program at CSUN. Hopefully we can use this thread to talk to and support each other as we go on this crazy journey

I talked to someone in the nursing department about it and they just told me it has some thing to do with the admissions process. She reassured me that program is not shutting down and will not affect the 2016 program. We will probably get more information about it during orientation which will take place end of June. I'll update you if I hear any new information.

Thank you for your reply! I haven't applied but am very interested in this program if there will be a 2017 or 2018 cohort so any additional information from orientation would be very helpful

What's the daily/weekly schedule like for the 15 month ABSN program? The website says 2 or more classes per semester. I will be getting my BSPH in 2 months and would like to apply at CSUN for their ABSN program. I live in Long Beach and would like to know if I can still work a little while in the program. I am also considering Cal-State LA's ABSN program.

Can anyone in the program tell me about the time commitment and intensity of the program? It looks like in the summer we have clinicals 3 times a week and 4-6 hours of classes the other days. How intense was this? How late would you be up studying?
